Rick Rodriguez and West Tampa Tobacco Company are introducing “Boliche Boulevard,” a cigar that pays tribute to the Cuban culinary tradition along Tampa’s Columbus Drive, affectionately known as “Boliche Boulevard.”
Describing the significance of this release, Rick Rodriguez, the master blender and co-owner, expressed a personal connection, stating, “For me, this cigar is personal.” He elaborated on the company’s vision, saying, “The naming of our company as West Tampa was driven by the desire to celebrate Tampa’s rich cigar-making history, raise awareness of its vibrant present, and contribute to shaping its promising future.” Rodriguez added, “To ensure this cigar truly represents Tampa, I collaborated with the renowned tobacco family, Oliva Tobacco Company.”
While specific blend details remain undisclosed, Rodriguez assured enthusiasts that, given the extensive tobacco resources available from Oliva’s vast library, the blend is something truly exceptional.
The initial shipments of West Tampa Tobacco Company’s Boliche Blvd. are scheduled to commence on November 27th, 2023, and will be accessible to select retailers in the US and limited international markets.
